Ono Hawaiian BBQ and Burgers is coming to the Ninth Island! According to a City of Las Vegas permit, the California-born Hawaiian fusion fast-food eatery is set to open in the Charleston Heights area, inside Good Timez Billiards at 5740 W Charleston Blvd.
Gary Onomura of Good Timez Billiards was listed on the permit. What Now Las Vegas reached out to Onomura and Ono Hawaiian BBQ and Burgers CEO Joshua Liang to find out more about the expansion. Unfortunately, we did not hear back by the time this publication was published.
“Ono Hawaiian uses the freshest ingredients, prepared from scratch daily in each restaurant and grilled fresh to order,” the Ono Hawaiian BBQ and Burgers website reads.
“With locations in California and Arizona, we aim to combine the culture and ‘Aloha’ spirit of Hawaii into our restaurants to bring a taste of the islands with exceptional service in an inviting atmosphere.”
Founded in 2002, Ono Hawaiian BBQ is famous for bringing traditional Hawaiian plate lunches—a fusion of Hawaiian, Chinese, Korean, Filipino, and American flavors—to the mainland United States. Ono Hawaiian BBQ occasionally features island-inspired burgers, such as the Spam Burger, on its menu. The chain primarily operates in Arizona and California and has more than 130 Ono Hawaiian BBQ and Burgers spots. The debut Las Vegas location is full of excitement.
Good Timez Billiards is a premier, smoke-free pool hall in Las Vegas. Opened in the mid-2010s, it is well-known for high-end tables, professional-grade equipment, and a historic 2016 high-stakes “One-Pocket Smashup” match between pro players Francisco Bustamante and Tony Chohan. Taking on this new eatery will be a major plus for the establishment.
Ono Hawaiian BBQ and Burgers is anticipated to make its Vegas debut in the Charleston Heights area, inside Good Timez Billiards at 5740 W Charleston Blvd, sometime this year.
