Something new and original is on the way to Grosse Pointe Park.

Angelos’ Fine Italian is the newest concept coming to the city’s downtown district at 16844 Kercheval Avenue per recent posts on social media. The space was formerly City Kitchen, a popular neighborhood restaurant and bar serving steak and cocktails. The owner told What Now Detroit he is hoping to open sometime after Labor Day or towards the end of September.

While the owner is not releasing the official menu, pastas and other Italian specialties can be expected. Those who have seen signage in the window have expressed excitement online. This is the first concept from the listed group Adagio Hospitality.

Angelo’s is opening near the intersection of Cadieux Road, close to Einstein Bros. Bagels. Cold Stone Creamery is right across the street, and Village Grille is a couple storefronts down. This is on the east side of Grosse Pointe Park.

What Now Detroit is awaiting further information on Angelo’s Fine Italian. As it gets closer to the official opening date, be sure to visit their website for more updates.
