According to a recent permit filing, a new concept called Alma PDX aims to debut in the Alberta area at 5237 NE Martin Luther King Jr Boulevard.

“Alma is in the early stages so not ready to discuss details there,” a representative of Alma PDX told What Now Portland.

Alma PDX’s permit filing states that the planned days of operation will be Thursday through Monday from 5 PM to 10 PM. Outdoor operating hours will be open Friday from 5 PM to 10 PM, and Saturday through Sunday from 5 PM to 10 PM, with food and alcohol service options.

LoopNet states that Alma PDX’s new location is a part of Vanport Square. The property was originally built in 1947 and renovated in 2007.

United Fund Advisors tells us more about Vanport Square: “The 40,000 square foot, LEED Gold 17-unit Vanport Square mixed-use development is part of the solution. It includes office, retail, and restaurant space targeted specifically for the relocation and expansion of locally owned small businesses. The development offers a diverse mix of services to the neighborhood.”
