Black & Brew Coffee House and Bistro has announced plans to expand in their native Lakeland area. This will be their third location, and it will appear in the old Krispy Kreme building at 4209 S. Florida Ave, according to LkldNow.com

The company has apparently been inspired by Chipotle’s new advance-ordering drive-thru model, coined as Chipotlanes. The formed donut shop is already fitted with drive-thru capabilities, and owner Chris McArthur told LkldNow that he is aiming to provide “the best drive-through coffee experience in Lakeland.”

The company, which has been serving coffee 16 years ago on Valentine’s Day in 2016. Since then, the brand has expanded into 2 locations. They hope to add their third unit sometime later this year. According to McArthur: “For the better part of 16 years, our customers have been asking us to open a south Lakeland location.”

An exact opening date is unclear. What Now reached out to McArthur, but we have yet to hear back.
