Located at 9750 W Skye Canyon Park Drive, Two Sisters Broasted Chicken & Ribs is the first restaurant in Las Vegas to serve broasted chicken. Broasting, a cooking method popularized in the American Midwest, involves a “pressure frying” process—one that’s undertaken after Two Sisters’ chicken has marinated for 12 hours.
In addition to chicken, Two Sisters serves up brisket, pulled pork, crispy fish, catfish, Polish Smoked Sausage, and other sandwiches. The brand has met with a solid thumbs up from the Las Vegas community, and now, according to recent coverage by the Las Vegas Review-Journal, it’s preparing to launch a second location in the Monument at Calico Ridge retail center.
The Monument has had a long and difficult gestation period, but in the last few years development has picked up nicely, the RJ coverage says:
“The center was finished in2008, at the beginning of the Great Recession. An investor later bought the property in a foreclosure auction, then sat on it for almost a decade. Calico Ridge Partners LLC purchased the property in October 2021, then renovated it by repainting exteriors, sealing and striping the parking lot, replacing awnings and upgrading the landscaping.”
The Monument at Calico Ridge is now home to restaurants like Toasted & Roasted, Jamón Jamón, and PowerSoul Cafe.
What Now reached out on Tuesday to Two Sisters co-owner Stacy McBride to ask about plans for the Calico Ridge opening. McBride was not immediately available for comment.
