Casa Jalisco, a new Tex-Mex Sports Bar, will be opening at 125 Co-Op Blvd in Hutto, according to a recent filing with the State of Texas. The new location will be within the new Co-Up District Development near Southside Market & Barbeque and Hutto Silos Farmer’s Market.

What Now Austin recently contacted owner Jaime Fernandez who is very excited to be opening his first Central Texas restaurant. The restaurant is currently in the permitting phase and will feature an interior of 6000 square feet and a 2000 square foot patio.

Stylistically speaking, Casa Jalisco will serve both traditional Mexican and Tex-Mex plates in a sports-bar style restaurant with capacities for event hosting. Fernandez adds that the larger Co-Up District development has constructed an attractive green area and outdoor space near the back of  the restaurant making it a scenic option for customers.

Mr. Fernandez anticipates an opening date sometime in early 2023
