Boca Raton is getting a brand new spot for smoothies, Pressed juices, and more. Tropical Blends, the new restaurant, will launch at 500 NE Spanish River Blvd #4a, promising wholesome food choices and comfortable courtyard seating complete with wifi.
“My husband and I came up with the idea because we realized, we have two kids, and we want to teach them a healthy life style,” Olivera, who owns the shop together with her husband, told What Now on Tuesday. “A lot of people in Boca and South Florida in general are health conscious and really care about what they put in their bodies. We wanted to offer a healthy alternative to what’s out there.”
Olivera says the menu will feature smoothies, juices from Pressed Juicery, acai bowls, paninis, wraps, salads, and fruit bowls.
The plan, she adds, is to grow the brand, with more shops and franchising on the horizon.
In the meantime, the new smoothie shop plans to get involved as a resource for the community, partnering with local schools to help keep kids healthy.
Tropical Blends is expected to open sometime in November.
