According to recent reporting in OBJ, a local fast casual franchisee will soon be taking on a finer concept.

After originally planning to open a Blue Coast Burrito in downtown’s Society Orlando building, Ed Zausch became compelled by the possibilities of the former Walgreens at 190 S. Orange Ave. “and considered opening a fine dining establishment in the spot,” the OBJ reports.

“There’s fun in doing something you haven’t done before,” he told the publication.

“As the entrepreneur discovered how complicated it would be to convert the former pharmacy into a restaurant, he took a second look at his Society lease and decided Just Love Coffee would have a different companion: a high-end restaurant,” the report states.

While little is known about the project as of now, Zausch has named Joshua “Jag” Garcia as the project’s chef.

“We’re looking at American cuisine with Latin fusion,” said Garcia. “We want to give folks what they’re looking for.”

“Our plan is for a brunch and lunch operation that fades into a happy hour and becomes an awesome dinner service,” he said.
