Bojangles has opened its first Arizona restaurant in Gilbert, bringing its menu of chicken, biscuits, and sweet tea to the Phoenix-area community. The restaurant marks the North Carolina-based chain’s first Arizona location as part of its broader expansion strategy.
Bojangles Opens First Arizona Restaurant in Gilbert
According to an official news release, Bojangles opened its doors at 3765 S. Val Vista Drive on July 20, 2026.
LVP Restaurant Group, an entity of LV Petroleum, operates the Gilbert restaurant. Senior Vice President Jeanette Davis said the company is excited to bring Bojangles’ Southern-style menu to the Phoenix market.
“We are ecstatic to introduce Bojangles to the Valley of the Sun and bring our unique Southern charm to the Phoenix market,” Davis said. She also looked back on the restaurant chain’s recent expansions, which delivered good results and hoped the same at Gilbert.
“Our recent expansions into markets have been met with tremendous enthusiasm, and we are confident that the community will embrace our delicious offerings with the same excitement.”
The new location will offer Bojangles’ menu items along with grand opening promotions. Opening celebrations include a $100 Bojangles gift card for the first 100 guests and a sweepstakes offering free breakfast for a year to 10 winners.
The Gilbert restaurant was first announced in 2025. The opening is part of a 20-unit development agreement between LV Petroleum and Kingsbarn Realty Capital. The project was expected to open in spring 2026.
