Word started to get out about year ago that popular burgers-and-more fast-food chain Cook Out had plans for not one but two new locations in Tampa. The brand’s commitment to the Tampa Bay market appears not to have diminished in the slightest, as St. Pete Rising reports that the company has submitted paperwork to open its first location in St. Petersburg.
The submitted documents are for work with an $800,000 price tag at 9595 Fourth St N, in a building that formerly housed a Boston Market location.
That means a third location in the area where you can pick your favorites from a menu that offers a little bit of everything. You may be looking for a Char-Grilled Hamburger, barbecue plates and sandwiches, Char-Grilled Chicken Breast, or any one of a number of fast food choices. Odds are, Cook Out has it.
As it happens, all three locations being transformed into Cook Outs were once Boston Markets, the St. Pete Rising points out.
The location on Fourth Street, near the intersection with 96th Avenue North, places Cook Out among competitors like Arby’s and McDonald’s.
