A new restaurant and esplanade to eat and drink and enjoy the weather is in the works in Bradenton’s Village of the Arts. Plan review documents submitted by the Village Patio, LLC show the new restaurant, called The Village Patio, opening at 1213 13th Ave.

The location formerly housed Birdrock Taco Shack, which closed toward the end of last year.

Details about The Village Patio’s opening timeline and menu offerings have yet to be revealed. What Now reached out on Friday to owner Patrick Zvonik to ask about plans for the opening. Zvonik was not immediately available for comment.

Opening in Bradenton’s eclectic Village of the Arts neighborhood, The Village Patio would open next door to Monark Custom Framing and Art Gallery, near Adobe Graffiti Lounge.

What Now is waiting on more information on the opening, so stay tuned for updates.
