Vegan eatery, coffee shop, and bar The Coronado — aptly named for the neighborhood where it’s situated — might vacate its home this summer, at 2201 N 7th St.

Newly-minted marketing materials seeking a buyer for the structure housing the restaurant, or a tenant to take its place, surfaced this week. SVN Commercial Advisors, the real estate firm that holds the listing, indicates the 1,217 square-foot space will be available come July.

“This building was built in 1915 and still shows its original charm,” according to the listing. “The space is currently operating as a vegan restaurant until July of 2021. Don’t miss this opportunity.”

Neither a sales price nor a lease option were spelled out in the listing, other than both options being “negotiable.”

As The Coronado is still open, a note on the listing encourages interested parties to “not disturb the current tenants.” Reps for the restaurant on Friday did not immediately respond to a request for comment from What Now Phoenix.

With a nearly-perfect five-star Yelp rating, The Coronado seems popular among plant-based eaters having also been named “Best Of” in Phoenix New Times among other accolades.
