Coffee bar and eatery Dapper & Stout has established itself as a sophisticated expert when it comes to carefully sourced and brewed coffee and espresso, offering more than a dozen varieties of its signature coffee and teas at its Phoenix and Glendale locations. Now, the coffee bar is setting out to realize the “Stout” in its name, and will soon be offering cocktails, wine, and beer with expanded hours at a new location in uptown Phoenix.
The new spot, at 100 E Camelback Road, is on track to open for 4th of July weekend, and will offer all of Dapper & Stout’s signature coffees, teas, and food along with its new cocktail, beer, and wine menu, from 6am-8pm Sunday through Thursday, and until 10pm on Friday and Saturday nights.
Like the coffee bar’s current locations in downtown Phoenix and Glendale, the place will, of course, be dapper as ever, complete with subway tiled walls, dandelion chandeliers, neon and ivy accents, and potentially even a photo-op wall for customers (or friends, as the restaurant likes to refer to them) to show off their own dapper ensembles.
“It’s going to have a modern, sophisticated diner feel,” says owner Aaron Lopo. “And we’re excited to break into the cocktail scene.”
Come summertime, you can head to Dapper & Stout at happy hour for a signature cocktail and a soft pretzel. But, hey, it’s summer — why not show up early instead for a waffle and a mimosa, made with fresh-squeezed orange juice and Prosecco on tap? Now that is what we call dapper.
