Light Lounge, a center for medical-grade light therapy, is set to expand in Colorado with second and third locations opening in Denver. Their location in Littleton, on 10146 W San Juan Way, should be open by July 15th while they are still in negotiations for their location set to open in Cherry Creek.

This light therapy center is the first of its kind in Colorado as it is the only photobiomodulation center in the area that has FDA approval for the medical-grade lights they use for their therapies. “What makes us unique is that we have medical grade at consumer prices,” said David Martin, CEO and Founder, when we talked with him.

The center provides non-invasive medical grade light therapy (also known as photobiomodulation) that helps decrease the oxidation levels in the body, which in turn reduces inflammation. While oxidation is a normal process in the body, an imbalance of free radicals caused by the process of oxidation can lead to “oxidative stress” or inflammation.

“If you can control inflammation you can prevent diseases and prevent some of the aches and pains,” said David Martin, who continued to preach the benefits of this almost “magic” cure to some of the aches and pains he himself has experienced as an athlete. Even though he is over 50 years old, “I feel 30 years old,” said David. “I’m a distance runner and I’m running times I ran when I was in my 30s.”

Though of course, light therapy isn’t magic, it is a medical therapy that has been studied for over 50 years with proven benefits. To learn more about medical-grade light therapy, feel free to check out Light Lounge’s blog that is cited with clinical research.

If you’re curious about medical-grade light therapy to ease your aches and pains, or if you simply want to reap the medical benefits, Light Lounge offers a New Pricing Special for 6 Sessions, that brings the cost of one session down to less than $15.

“We are going to bring you the highest amount of light for the least amount of money,” said David Martin, whose ultimate goal is to have these centers across the U.S., healing bodies all over country.
