The Naughty Pine Brewing Co. wants to find a home west of Los Angeles as its owners have for many years.

“My husband and I have been homebrewing for over 10 years,” Owner Brittany Brouhard explained. “We grew up just down the Conejo Grade in Camarillo and if you’re familiar with Ventura County, it’s one big community… especially in terms of craft beer.”

After serving as the lead brewer at Enegren Brewing in Moorpark, Brouhard decided it was time to open their own place.

“We are going to be a small microbrewery located in Westlake, Village,” she said. “We knew we wanted to stay local to our roots.”

Naughty Pine Brewing Co. will have a selection of classic European-style lagers and a small rotating menu of experimental beers.

“I plan to be a place to allow growth and opportunity for homebrew clubs and people interested in getting involved in the industry,” Brouhard explained. “We hope to open up August 2021.”

She said the location, at 766 Lakefield Dr. Suite A, is everything they were looking for in a spot.

Named after their street, Knotty Pine Street, Brouhard plans to keep it local.

“This is where we’ve dug our roots and started our life so it just seemed fitting,” she concluded.
