The Snug, a new restaurant, will soon be able to open in the Madison South area at 6806 NE Broadway, confirmed by its owner Jeffrey Ward.
“We are currently finishing renovations and wrapping up our liquor licensing, but our goal for opening is sometime by mid-August,” Ward told What Now Portland.
“We will be a family-friendly option for customers to enjoy. For the menu, we will be offering sandwiches and sausage-focused food options, as well as live music, pinball, and foosball for entertainment.”
While the menu is still in production, some of the sausage-focused menu options would be grilled sausage with various toppings, as well as their classic sandwiches to match, with several different side choices to choose from.
Jeffrey made it known that the aesthetics and overall vibe within The Snug will be simple, yet fun. The Snug can be described as “nothing too complicated” and to “have a good time with a drink,” with a simplicity that is met with additional benefits of the excitement of a neighborhood bar ambiance.
