A new coffee shop is coming to the Elmwood neighborhood in Berkley, What Now San Francisco has learned.

Leasing a 400-square-foot space at 3001 Telegraph Avenue, Southside Coffee is ready to meet the growing needs of the neighborhood. The owner, Thomas Judt, declined to offer further comments on his plans to open when reached on the telephone this week, stating that his marketing team is preparing a reveal of their own.

Southside Coffee will occupy a beautiful first-floor corner of the building with plenty of natural light and easy street access. Set at the corner of Telegraph and Ashby Avenue, the new café will serve the busy residents of Elmwood well.

Telegraph Ave is a major thoroughfare with a plethora of different restaurants, while Ashby Ave connects the thoroughfare to Alta Bates Summit Medical Center, making Southside’s corner location extraordinarily convenient.

The five-year lease term is set to begin August 2021 according to real estate intel, so further information should be coming shortly as Southside Coffee’s marketing team prepares for their grand opening.
