Oceanside, CA is already known for its craft brews scene, and hometown brewers like Belching Beaver Brewery and the aptly named Oceanside Brewing Company will soon have to make room for a new tasting room that’s headed to 1575 S Coast Highway.
Trevor Whitehead and Joel Steinmetz’s South O Brewing Co is set to soon join Oceanside’s craft brew community. Just a week ago, alongside what we can assume is a picture of the brewery’s 10 BBL system, the brewery shared the announcement “coming soon.” And today the brewery added, “South O Brewing Company is looking to hire a passionate Brewer to join the team. If you are experienced, skilled and creative individual who’s excited to brew a variety of styles on our 10 bbl Brewhouse, Apply Today!”
South O Brewing Co has also applied for a Small Beer Manufacturer license with the Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control. The license is currently pending.
The new brewery is headed to the corner of S Coast Highway and Morse Street, just a few blocks inland from Buccaneer Beach. Keep an eye on South O Brewing Co’s social media for updates.
