According to a recent permit filing, a new restaurant concept by the name of Teote Tavern will open soon in the Vernon area at 5513 NE 30th Ave.
The owner, Michael Kennett, stated that the name of the restaurant is not currently set in stone. TEOTE Restaurant Group is restructuring to continue to bring something fun and different to 30th Avenue, with more information to come soon, he added.
Teote consists of three locations, the three locations being The Mezcaleria in Northeast Portland, The House Cafe in Southeast, and The Outpost in Downtown Portland. According to an article from Southeast Examiner, Teote is described as a “one-of-a-kind destination for Latin American-inspired food and culture.”
Teote also offers catering options as well as family meals. Recently, they announced the return of their “highly requested” Family Meal Kits. Over time, it’s stated they’ve received numerous requests from their patrons to reintroduce these kits, and they’ve been hard at work revamping them to make the dining experience even more enjoyable.
One of the significant changes they’ve implemented is the preparation of their meals as ready-to-eat. This means that when you pick up your Family Meal Kit, the hot items – including beans, rice, proteins, and arepas – will be piping hot and ready to savor. Rest assured, if you’re not planning to indulge right away, their dishes are stated to be easy to reheat to ensure that every bite is as delightful as if it came straight from the kitchen, according to the company website.
