OliveSpa, founded and owned by Brenda Rea, is getting ready to set up shop at 3150 E. Ray Road as part of the upcoming Epicenter at Agritopia development.

“Things are going well,” said Rea when she spoke to What Now Phoenix on Monday. “We’re right on schedule as we should be.”

Now that the city of Gilbert has approved their proposed plans, they’re ready to get started on creating their own space.

The retailer, whose products are made with all natural ingredients starting with extra virgin olive oil, focuses on skin care and has a line of products from soaps to lip balms, body oils to lotion sticks, and lineups for men, women, and children.

As of now, OliveSpa has run in a little space at Queen Creek Olive Mill, which is owned by Rea and her husband. There’s also a little space in the mill where the products are produced, which will remain where everything comes from once the new store opens up.

“This will be the first of our own space and we’re really excited about it,” said Rea. “At some point, we’re also thinking of opening up a space behind it for treatments like facials.”

While the Reas own the Queen Creek Olive Mill together, OliveSpa operates under Brenda’s direction. As of now, no official opening date has been set, but the Epicenter is slated to open in 2022.
