Barebottle Brewing Co. is the newest tenant at the Salesforce Transit Center on 425 Mission St. According to a recent report in the Chronicle, they are planning to open two tap rooms at San Francisco’s busiest bus terminal in Spring 2022.

In addition to a ground-floor location adjacent to 1st St., the brewery will be one of the destinations at Salesforce Park, the four-block rooftop park home to more than 16,000 flora and fauna for the public to enjoy. Guests will be able to settle in for a quick pint after enjoying an afternoon stroll in one of the city’s most unique public spaces.

In 2007, Cornell Business School students Lester Koga, Michael Seitz, and Ben Sterling moved to the Bay Area, where they began home brewing and became beer judges. It was out of this camaraderie and shared passion that Barebottle was formed.

Since then, they began looking for ways to innovate their flavors, using local ingredients and partnering with other local homebrewers. Now, they are known for their eclectic mix of Lagers, Sours, and IPAs, while also having ventured into wine, coffee, and soda.
