According to a recent permit filing, La Parrilla Kitchen will soon open another location in West Portland at 10075 SW Barbur Boulevard.

A representative of La Parrilla Kitchen was not immediately available for commentary upon What Now Portland’s request.

While an official opening date has yet to be confirmed, according to the company website, La Parrilla currently has a location in Beaverton.

La Parrilla describes itself as “Authentic Mexican cuisine in Portland and Beaverton, Oregon. Dishes with style, food with the flavor of México. Tacos, Burritos, Seafood, Caldos, and more.”

According to an article from Bridgetown Bites written in 2022, “They have had two locations—the one in Portland and one in Beaverton, which is still open, located at 9454 SW Allen Blvd.”

“I called that location to get the details and the woman on the phone (presumably the owner), confirmed that the 82nd Avenue location has permanently closed. She said it closed about a month ago (in August 2022). She told me she lives in Beaverton now, so the change-up makes sense.”

“La Parilla opened up in early 2018 and quickly became a favorite. People came by to enjoy their well-priced and delicious tacos, huevos rancheros, enchiladas, burritos, carne asada, and chorizo, prepared by a family with origins in Puebla, Mexico.”

According to Crexi, La Parrilla Kitchen’s new location will be a part of Capitol Corner. “Retail/Service spaces available in high traffic retail center in Portland, OR.”

“The shopping center provides excellent visibility from SW Barbur Blvd. Surrounded by dense residential and daytime employment populations. Area retailers include Walgreens, Starbucks, McDonalds, Safeway, and Fred Meyer.”
