Brought back to life with a sale of the company in 2023, Congregation Coffee plans to open its third café (and counting?) in two years when a location opens at the corner of Magazine Street and Jefferson Avenue in the spring of 2025. The new cafe will be in a former CC’s Coffee House and set in the first floor of an old Victorian building. According to NOLA.com, Congregation Coffee owner Patrick Brennan will make minor renovations to the space, but aside from cosmetic changes, it will mostly be the same as the former café.

Congregation Coffee was founded in 2015 and in 2018 it was named the best coffee roaster in Louisiana by Food & Wine magazine. Last year, What Now New Orleans reported on Brennan buying the company and bringing back a café it had closed in Algiers Point. In March, it was revealed that Congregation Coffee is looking to bless the French Quarter with a new location.
