A new 7 Brew Coffee stand location is currently being built at 7000 Veterans Memorial Blvd. in Metairie, according to a permit filing with Jefferson Parish. The new location is slated to be in a large parking lot near the former Surge Adventure Park in Metairie. While details about the new location are limited, typical 7 Brew coffee stands have a small footprint and focus on providing fast drive-thru service. Construction of the new locations is expected to cost nearly $370,000 and the franchisee is Sticks and Stone LLC, which is based in Lubbock Texas.
Founded in Arkansas, 7 Brew Coffee was founded on the idea of fast fun drive-thru service of coffee and light fare. There are more than 300 locations currently, according to the official 7 Brew website, and the company is currently going through a period of rapid expansion across the entire US. Last year, the company announced plans to open a location in Baton Rouge and there are currently 7 Brew locations and Ascension and Livingston parishes.
