Southern Belle Louisiana Cajun Spices & Foods has been a go-to destination in the Valley for all your Cajun cuisine necessities since 2020. Their outpost in northern Phoenix has seen plenty of success as an essential business over the past couple years. Now, the business is ready to expand with a second location at 1717 W. Southern Ave. in Southern 19 Plaza, according to recent real estate intel.
Owner Dyron Kador confirmed the move today in a phone call with What Now Phoenix, adding that he hopes to open his second store by April. The 1,300 square-foot retail market is slightly bigger than the first location, which means there’s room to stock the inventory with more exclusive Louisiana goodies.
A native Louisianan, Kador moved to Arizona about two years ago. Never forgetting his roots, he says that most of his items are shipped in directly from Louisiana, otherwise they come from its neighboring southern states. Popular items like boudin sausage, Cajun spaghetti, hog head cheese and stuffed chickens are flying off the shelves at Southern Belle.
Now, the Valley will have two places to flock to in case they’re hankering for some Jambalaya or some authentic Cajun sauces and seasonings. For more information, follow Southern Belle on Facebook and Instagram.
