A pink patisserie serving French and Asian-inspired desserts is baking up something new.
Champagne Poetry is moving into a space at 1620 NW 23rd Avenue, Bridgetown Bites reports. The space was formerly occupied by Killer Burger, which closed last year.
Champagne Poetry serves a variety of unique croissants, macarons, cakes, cookies and other sweet treats, like brown sugar boba cupcakes and matcha brûlée lava cheesecake.
Owner Dan Bian is an experienced pastry chef and the former owner of La Rose Patisserie in Beaverton. She attended Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts in Portland and has trained with renowned pastry chefs.
The concept’s original location in the Hawthorne District will remain, according to Bridgetown Bites. Champagne Poetry first opened at the space in 2022.
“We specialize in modern French-Asian Fusion desserts and strive to use only the world’s finest ingredients,” according to the shop’s website. “We make use of chocolate and fruit purees from France, vanilla beans from Tahiti and Madagascar, and coffee beans from all over.”
The new location is expected to offer an even broader range of foods. Signage refers to the concept as “Champagne Poetry Asian Fusion + Lounge.”
