According to a recent permit filing, La Fiesta on Main Cocina Y Tequila will soon open in Vancouver at 800 Main Street.
“We are thinking of opening on December 7th, which could be earlier, but that is our goal date. We make our food from scratch and provide agave tequila. This will be our second location,” co-owner Jose Garay told What Now Portland.
“My two partners are my wife and Fernando Aguayo. I’ve been doing this since I was 14 and worked for many restaurants. Over time I came up with my ideas and recipes. I’ve been in the industry for about 20 years, and some of the recipes are my mother’s. Fernando is also a long-time restaurant owner.”
“We have been awarded the “Best Mexican Restaurant” in the West Linn area award for our first location. We also do food and tequila pairings, and have a tequila club. A fun detail about the tequila club is that we put people’s names into the mini barrels!”
According to La Fiesta’s website, “We’ve been serving up hot, heavenly plates made with the distinctive flavors of true Mexican cuisine. What began as the owner’s zest for good food and friendly service, flourished into a family-owned business that’s known far and wide for its exceptional staff, and of course, our incredible dishes!”
