Angelenos have a real taste for Nashville Hot Chicken (well, who doesn’t?). The city has been gobbling up The Red Chickz‘ crispy sandwiches and wedge fries since Co-Founder Shawn Lalehzarian first opened the eatery in 2018. But here’s the real news: apparently we’ve been gobbling up those eats with such fervor that the company has embarked on a rapid and sprawling expansion.

In addition to the new Culver City location, slated to open later this year, The Red Chickz has announced plans to open 40 additional locations in California, 25 stores in Texas, 10 in Nevada and 10 in Arizona, all within the next 18 months. The company is currently franchising in these states.

But have you seen this hot chicken? The spice levels range from cool to inferno, and the eatery’s simple, straightforward menu is all about the tenders. That said, Chickz N French Toast and the French Toast Sandwich are options you won’t find just anywhere. You can also get your hands on Jumbo Shrimp and Chickz Tacos, made with chicken or shrimp. All Chickz chicken is 100% hormone and antibiotic-free.

In an email with What Now Los Angeles, Lalehzarian, shared the Culver City store will open at 10100 Venice Blvd, hopefully by December of this year. Find the eatery on social media to keep up with the continuous stream of mouthwatering pics.
