Perla on Broadway is getting ready to open a new restaurant by the same name within the Historic Core, located at 400 S Broadway.

The recently opened condominium complex gets ready to introduce a brand new restaurant within a 4,132 square-foot portion of the ground floor. The new restaurant, also named Perla on Broadway, will feature 92 interior seats. Originally the restaurant had planned on having a 424 square-foot patio with eight exterior seats, but the request was denied. The hours of operation will be from 7 am to 2 am daily. Owner Danny Wei was unable to be reached for further details.

Although much isn’t known about this new restaurant, what is known is the kind of restaurant it won’t be. Perla on Broadway will not allow karaoke, DJs, entertainers, or fashion shows. They will rely on background music set at a low volume so that guests can enjoy their conversations. Most likely, the restaurant will serve as an attractive dining option for both residents and visitors of the newly opened condominium complex that it sits within.

Perla on Broadway, the condominium complex, opened earlier this year and offered several dining options and amenities. The 35-story high-rise in Downtown Los Angeles is a $320 million project and features 450 condominium units. The unit is the first residential high-rise built within the Historic Core of Los Angeles in over a century. Thankfully, customers of Perla on Broadways’ restaurant won’t need to own one of these condominiums, which cost mid-$400,000, to eat there.
