A brand new brewery called Campsite Brewing Company is coming to Covina, located at 323 E Front St.

The new brewery has plans to move into a 2,000 square-foot micro-brewery with a 1,496 square-foot open-air shed for ancillary use. Campsite Brewing Company also plans to have a detached shed to accommodate an outdoor dining deck and occasional live entertainment. Owner Christian Hartenstein hopes to open the campground-themed brewery by the end of 2021.

Campsite Brewing Company will become the first brewpub in Covina, according to the company’s Facebook. They will have a variety of hand-crafted beer and food in a relaxed setting. In keeping with the campsite theme, the new restaurant will be designed to resemble a cabin with three enclosed sides and a sliding door leading out to the outdoor dining deck. The cabins will have large overhanging eaves, river rock stone veneer finish, and cedar shingle shake siding.

“After a long day on the trail or a hard day at work, Campsite Brewing Company will be the perfect place to come together as a family to enjoy local hand-crafted beer, food, and wine in a beautiful, adventure-themed setting,” according to their website. “You’ll find the casual comfort of indoor and outdoor gastro pub dining served with the laid-back vibe of a neighborhood craft brewery. All themed after your home away from home: your campsite.”

  • Looking forward to the new place. I’ve seen the conceptual drawings and stopped by a few times to see the progress of construction and I’m amazed at how well things are turning out. I always liked the old building and the changes you’ve made make it all that much better. You guys are doing a great job. Can’t wait to visit once the doors have opened
