Tea Box Cafe is expanding to a second location in Lancaster, located at 4085 W. Avenue L.

Replacing a Cash Advance, the new 1,200 square-foot Tea Box Cafe hopes to open its doors in March 2022, owner Zhognzhi Huang tells What Now Los Angeles. According to Huang, progress on the new Tea Box Cafe has been delayed due to document processing from Los Angeles’ Planning Department. Once it does open, Huang hopes to continue to sell his variety of teas and meals as he does at his original location in 1798 E Ave J. The new cafe will sit within the Quartz Hill Towne Centre.

Tea Box Cafe offers several drinks and entrees to the Lancaster community. They are most known for their dozens upon dozens of tea, slushies, coffee, and smoothie options. The cafe has a handful of meals, including beef soup pho, potstickers, and chicken soup for those who are hungry. Appetizer-wise, they offer popcorn chicken, fried shrimp, egg rolls, and more.

“Tea Box Cafe is a cornerstone in the Lancaster community and has been recognized for its outstanding Asian cuisine, excellent service, and friendly staff,” according to their website. “Our Asian restaurant is known for its modern interpretation of classic dishes and its insistence on only using high-quality fresh ingredients.”

CORRECTION: This article previously misstated the address of the new Tea Box Cafe as 4087 W Avenue L. The correct address of the new Tea Box Cafe will be 4085 W. Avenue L.
