UPDATE (Dec. 11, 2011): Inman Perk Coffee raising the bar on its liquor offerings

Inman Perk Coffee has been approved for a liquor license.

The coffee shop on N. Highland Avenue in Inman Park started serving Tuesday, according to Katy Martineau, barista.

“Call it our soft opening,” Martineau said.

Inman Perk is currently offering a small selection of bottled beers but has plans for a wider selection including a “draft station” and the possibility of specialty drinks, she said.

“I think it’s possible to serve coffee, wine and beer at the same time and be a beverage superstar.”
