In August, What Now Atlanta broke the news that Baraonda Ristorante & Bar was closing its Midtown doors after nearly two decades of service and relocating to Sandy Springs. At the time, the only details available were that new owners purchased the furnished space for $795,000 and planned to open a “upscale restaurant and lounge.”
We’re excited to report Victory Restaurant & Lounge, a popular concept from Ricardo Young with locations in Miami and Washington D.C., is moving in.
According to a liquor license application filed with the City of Atlanta, Victory will bring beer, wine, spirits, and live entertainment to 710 Peachtree Street NE. The restaurant and lounge will be open Monday-Thursday from 5PM to 12AM, Fridays from 2PM to 2AM, Saturdays from 11AM to 2AM, and Sundays from 11AM to 12AM. The 6,600 square-foot space will accommodate up to 375 patrons.
The Victory experience brings “dynamic ambiance, unmatched vibes, impeccable food, and hookah.” The restaurant and lounge debuted in Miami in 2020, and a D.C. location followed soon after.
Although we reached out to Young for comment, we did not hear back at the time of publication. No word yet on when Victory Atlanta will open its doors, but you can follow along with developments by finding the new restaurant and lounge on social media.
