Ju-ichi, the catering company specializing in high-end Sushi boards, will spread out to their first brick-and-mortar location on Engineer Road in the Convoy neighborhood.
Established in 2021, Chef Nghi Dao, creates deluxe sushi boards aka Charcuterie of the Sea, offering a gourmet experience for special occasions and private events.
Ju-ichi has been operating out of a shared kitchen space in Old Town but announced via social media that they’ll no longer be providing boards out of that space and going full steam ahead into their restaurant opening.
We don’t know too much about what to expect from their opening menu. Ju-ichi promises a fun, contemporary-style menu. They currently offer mixed boards that include combinations of Nigiri, Specialty Rolls, and Sashimi. Their non-Sushi boards feature Wagyu strip loin steak, grilled seasonal vegetables, and assorted sauces.
Ju-ichi is now hiring for all kitchen positions ahead of their opening in the Convoy District. They are projected to open by May 2022. Follow them on Instagram for details and updates.
