A new restaurant called Blaze BBQ is getting ready to open in Fremont. Recent real estate intel reveals that a lease was just signed on 41986 Fremont Blvd. in Irvington. A Facebook page for the restaurant hasn’t been updated since June 2021, when they announced plans for their grand opening that was to happen the following month.
That said, the page has gone silent since then, leading many to suppose that the opening has been delayed. What Now San Francisco contacted owner Massoud Rustakhis, who said that they will actually open this coming summer. He was unable to provide any further details at the time.
Rustakhis also owns Falafel Flame, which is scheduled to open this summer as well. It seems that the fare at Blaze BBQ will be similar. There will be Mediterranean fusion dishes such as BBQs, Kababs, Burgers, and Wraps.
They will also seem to have a variety of pizzas, starter dishes, and kids meals. Blaze BBQ is Halal certified by the Halal Food Standards Alliance of America (HFSAA). They use 100-percent hand slaughtered meats in their dishes. Stay tuned to this address in Fremont to see how the grand opening is coming along.
