Shekoh Moossavi has opened Shekoh Confections in Palo Alto providing the Peninsula with a source of artisanal, hand-crafted European style chocolates, marshmallow treats, Persian and French recipe nougat, and caramels.

Moossavi creates her unique blend of flavors and textures on-site using Valrhona (French) and Felchlin (Swiss) chocolate, top grade nuts and fresh, often locally sourced farm ingredients, with all offerings prepared using traditional techniques for making world-class confections. Always house made are her nut butters, pralines, essential oils and ganache. Preservatives are not used. The debut chocolate collection has 21 flavors to choose from with seasonal selections to be regularly rotated in. The hallmark drink at Shekoh Confections is loose leaf tea with house blends and popular varieties available.

Store décor highlights include a glass enclosed display case, the liberal use of Carrara marble, a bright yellow accent wall, an informational exhibit of select ingredients and a portrait of Moossavi painted by noted artist Arne Westerman.

Shekoh Confections is located at 2305 El Camino Real, unit B, between California and Cambridge Avenues, in Palo Alto, California. The store is open every day, Monday through Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and on Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
