San Jose boba haunt Pekoe Tea Bar is working on expanding throughout the Bay Area. The local chain opened their third location in Sunnyvale over the weekend and word on the street is that they already have sights set on Milpitas.
According to real estate intel obtained by What Now San Francisco, Pekoe Tea Bar secured 1,725 square-feet of retail space at 1404 S. Park Victoria Drive off I-680. They are expected to begin taking over the space this month, so it’s likely that they will open within a couple months if the rumors are true. Representatives for Pekoe Tea Bar could not be reached for comment.
Pekoe Tea Bar specializes in organic “dessert drinks” such as JMT (golden jasmine milk tea infused with golden brown sugar and honey black pearls) and Foxy Brown (black assam tea infused with organic golden, brown, demerara and turbinado sugars, plus honey black pears).
One of the best things about Pekoe Tea Bar is the option to order split drinks. If you’re feeling indecisive, pick any two drinks on the menu and both will be served to you in a split cup. For more information, visit pekoeteabar.com.
