A new Dutch Bros Coffee is being planned for Denver. Dutch Bros has about three dozen locations across the state of Colorado.

According to permitting information with the City of Denver, the new Dutch Bros Coffee will be located at 2225 W. Alameda Ave. Dutch Bros has applied for permits to renovate the location, which formerly housed a Wendy’s.

Dutch Bros spokesperson Rilynn Davis told What Now Denver the new location is expected to open in early 2023. The space is being renovated to have walk-in service and includes an existing drive-thru window.

Dutch Bros first started in Oregon in 1992, and locations have been popping up across the United States. Dutch Bros is involved in philanthropy, donating to various organizations including the Muscular Dystrophy Association to find a cause and cure for ALS, Dutch Luv to fight food insecurities, and Buck for Kids to create brighter futures for children.

The menu includes cold brews, Dutch Freeze, teas, smoothies, and more. Goodies include a variety of flavorful muffin tops and granola bars.
