Arya Steakhouse of Redwood City is moving to Palo Alto this summer. Renovations are underway in the former Miyake Restaurant at 140 University Ave. Co-owner Fera Hashemi tells What Now San Francisco that they should be ready to open from Palo Alto in July, pending renovations and installation of new equipment. They’ve already submitted their beer and wine application for the space.
Arya Steakhouse’s new location will be able to accommodate around 150 guests. In addition to the main dining room, the space boasts two private dining rooms and enough square footage to include an outdoor patio space.
Other than the location, nothing else is going to change. Arya Steakhouse will continue to serve their tried and true menu items, including their Ribeye and 40 oz. Tomahawk steaks that are dry aged in-house, as well as delectable Persian dishes such as Shirin Polo.
Fera and her husband, Executive Chef Mike Hashemi, have successfully operated Arya Steakhouse for the last ten years. They hope that the move down to Palo Alto will make their cuisine more accessible to the people of Silicon Valley and South Bay.
