New on the scene in Imperial Beach is a place called Santo Placer Restaurant. According to a permit filing with the city, the restaurant will land on Coronado Avenue and 18th Street.
The restaurant will move into a 2,351 square foot corner lot, complete with an ample parking lot across from the Robert Egger Sr. Recreation Center.
We don’t know too much about Santo Placer at this stage, beyond their plan of serving Mexican cuisine. Santo Placer shares a name with a former Rosarito, MX seafood restaurant but no relation has been confirmed. The business is brought to us by El Primo, the Chula Vista Birria restaurant and San Ysidro food truck operators.
