A new bar and bistro will soon be welcomed into Chinatown’s community of retail and dining destinations. JD Bar & Lounge LLC is working to open a new restaurant near the Center at Spring Mountain, a large retail center located near the intersection between W Spring Mountain Rd and S Valley View Blvd, according to permit paperwork recently submitted to Clark County.
Little is yet known about the project. In various filings for the address at 3545 S Valley View Blvd, the restaurant is referred to as J Bar, J Bar & Bistro, and J Bar & Lounge Bistro. Details about the bar’s menu are unknown at this time, but licensing paperwork calls for drinks and for five slot machines.
Situated on Valley View Blvd between Renate Dr and Vanessa Dr, the location is part of a cluster of dining locations. These include Chengdu Taste, Pho Kim Long, Kung Fu Thai & Chinese Restaurant, and Izakaya Go.
What Now Las Vegas was unable to reach owner Justin Doh for comment on the project. Details regarding its timeline for construction and opening, as well as its branding and menu offerings, are unavailable at this time, so stay tuned for updates as more information emerges on this upcoming project!
