The first Nevada location of Japanese ramen franchise Rakkan Ramen is on track to open in Town Square. The ramen chain has outposts in several states throughout the US, including California and Georgia, as well as in cities like Chicago and Houston, and is now moving into Las Vegas, opening at 6605 S Las Vegas Blvd this August.
Franchise owner Wesley Kim confirmed the news in an email conversation with What Now Las Vegas on Tuesday. “Just happy to bring our unique healthy and tasty authentic plant based broth Japanese ramen to the community,” Kim said.
Rakkan Ramen offers ramen varieties that include Garnet, with vegetable broth, sesame paste, grilled pork, green onion, bamboo shoots and seasoned egg, and Amber, the most popular, with vegetable broth, grilled pork, onion, parsley, bamboo shoots and seasoned egg.
The menu opens with appetizers like salads and edamame; beef, pork, and vegetarian gyoza; and pork and chicken buns. A few sushi varieties tend to be on offer as well, along with plates like Shrimp Shumai, Takoyaki, and Crispy Chicken.
Rice Bowls like the Crispy Chicken Bowl and the Spicy Tuna Bowl complete the menu, along with several Kids’ Meals for children ten and under.
Opening early this fall, the restaurant will join Town Square’s roster of eateries, including the nearby Texas de Brazil, Lady Dog Restaurant & Bar, and Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar.
