The famous brand that has been delivering mouth-watering chicken sandwiches since 1946 is bringing another unit to South Florida. What Now on Friday confirmed with the operator of the new location to get details.
Expect to find the new location at 5870 NW 183rd Street, where it will be just down the road from the Miami Gardens Plaza shopping center. It will be roughly two miles from the nearest Chick-Fil-A on 57th Ave.
According to owner and operator Tony Sampayo, the new fried chicken unit is under construction, and Sampayo expects it to open in mid-September to early-October. A plan review for the unit was filed with the DPBR was approved for construction on May 25. Sampayo is also the owner of the Chick-Fil-A in Miami Lakes on 57th Ave.
Since they began in Hapeville, GA in 1946, the brand has become famous for its hand-breaded chicken and waffle potato fries. Currently, there are nearly 2,600 locations.
