SIGNAL Coffee Roasters is expanding with a third location. Construction is underway at 2318 Central Ave. in downtown Alameda. If all goes according to plan, they anticipate opening this fall

SIGNAL Coffee Roasters debuted late last year on Alameda’s West End and have since been a favorite spot for small batch coffee, specialty drinks, and fresh pastries from local Bay Area bakeries. Beans are ethically sourced and roasted locally in Oakland.

Editor’s Note: A previous version of this article stated that the Central Avenue location will be SIGNAL Coffee Roasters’ second, which is incorrect. The article has been updated to reflect that this will be the third location, following the opening of the cafe in Berkeley.
