Founded in Los Angeles in 2010 by rock legends Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley, Rock & Brews has grown steadily, with about twenty locations in operation around the country. The brand is currently gearing up for a push to open seven more locations before the end of 2023. One of these is planned for 341 S. University Drive in Plantation, according to recent coverage in the South Florida Business Journal, which says plans for the restaurant are going before Plantation City Council on Wednesday.
Rock & Brews serves up classic American foods like wings, burgers, sandwiches, and barbecue—plus a selection of more than fifty draft beers, including signature beers like Red R Love red ale and Hazed and Confused IPA.
The 32.5-acre site on University Dr where Rock & Brews would be built is near the intersection with W Broward Blvd, near Plantation Community Plaza, a small shopping mall home to The Gyro Grill and a number of local businesses, and Broward Mall, which houses Cajun Boil, Sarku Japan, and Buffalo Wild Wings.
What Now was unable to reach a representative of Rock & Brews on Wednesday. The Plantation Rock & Brews would be the rock n’ roll franchise’s fifth in the state of Florida.
