The intersection of Biscayne Boulevard and Northeast 28th Street appears to be poised to see the opening of Limon y Sabor Peruvian Seafood. A plan review was recently submitted by the restaurant for 2713 Biscayne Blvd. This news comes after a previous Limon y Sabor location on Biscayne, at 3405 Biscayne Blvd., shut its doors.
The news means Limon y Sabor’s expansive menu of seafood-focused dishes may be making a return on Biscayne Boulevard.
The menu opens with Entradas like Choros a la Chalaca (Mussels Peruvian style) and Pulpo al Olivo (Octopus in an olive cream sauce), moving on to ceviches, which feature fish, shellfish, octopus, and more; meat and poultry dishes like Pollo Apanado and Bistec a Lo Pobre (Steak, beans, plantains, eggs and rice); and more fish and seafood dishes, like Sudado de Pargo (steamed whole red snapper) and Cau Cau de Mariscos (Fresh mixed seafood with boiled potatoes).
Located between Northeast 28th and 27th Streets, the restaurant is one of several eateries to be found nearby, include La Farandula Colombian Bistro, Empanadas Home, and Salsa Fiesta.
