Dumpling Daughter will soon open a fourth location at 475 W Broadway, according to a recent permit filing.

A representative of Dumpling Daughter did not immediately return What Now Boston’s request for comment.

While an official opening date has yet to be confirmed, born two generations ago, Dumpling Daughter traces its origins back to the esteemed 5-star Chinese restaurant, Sally Ling’s, owned by the owners, Nadia Spellman’s, parents in Boston. Despite the exquisite dishes served at the renowned establishment, the true essence of home-cooked meals, particularly the delightful flavors of steamed buns and sumptuous dumplings, held a special place in the Spellman’s heart.

As Sundays brought the family together for the joyful tradition of wrapping dumplings with their beloved grandma, these delectable treats became the epitome of comfort during Nadia’s childhood.

Building upon cherished family recipes and the desire to spread happiness, Dumpling Daughter was founded with a mission to bring joy to people, one dumpling at a time. While preserving the authenticity of time-tested Chinese dishes, Dumpling Daughter offers a diverse menu that showcases an array of favorites, including dumplings, buns, and noodles. By embracing the inherent charm and light-heartedness of dumplings, Dumpling Daughter seeks to provide a memorable dining experience for all its patrons, according to the company website.
