Two Austin-area Starbucks will undergo renovations throughout the year, according to recent public records.

The one scheduled to finish remodeling first will be the Starbucks in Georgetown at 1003 W University Ave, within suite 105, with a completion date expected by early May. Renovation costs are estimated at a very precise $401,055 and the minimal description on the filing simply states “Existing ownership remodeling space with existing use to remain.”

The second location, located in Austin at 6301 W Parmer Lane, within Wolf Ranch Town Center, is not anticipated to finish its remodeling until late September, making it reasonable to assume the Starbucks may not be fully refreshed until October of 2023. Renovation costs are also precisely estimated at $446,220 and the description more elaborately states “Renovation of an existing Starbucks cafe that includes, but not limited to, minor wall framing, casework, finishes, electrical, minor mechanical, and plumbing work.”

What Now Austin reached out to Sean Williams, Director of Business Operations, to inquire about both locations and additional details not publicly available, but he was not available for comment.
