It appears as though a contemporary Mexican steakhouse from hospitality and lifestyle company Noble 33 is making its way into the Texas market with Houston next on the list. Toca Madera currently serves guests at its restaurants in Las Vegas, Scottsdale, and West Hollywood.
Toca Madera offers diners “an unmatched sensory experience” with its award-winning menu, visually stunning design, and seductive music, according to the restaurant’s website. The menu features locally-source ingredients offering bold flavors through dishes such as Japanese Wagyu served with chimichurri and the Toca Tomahawk, which is a 40-ounce chipotle charcoal-rubbed American Wagyu. The Raw Bar offers several options of ahi tuna or Chilean sea bass.
Entrees include Chicken El Pastor, Pan Seared Salmon, and Scallops Amarillo among other dishes. Diners can choose from a selection of sides including Truffle Mac & Cheese and Manchego Truffle Fries. Toca Madera’s farm-to-glass cocktails include fresh, seasonal ingredients. A vast selection of high-end cocktails, tequilas and mezcals, and a rotating selection of wines offer unique pairings with each flavorful dish.
According to a recent project filing, Toca Madera will be located at 1755 Allen Pkwy. at The Allen, a new multi-use development near Buffalo Bayou in the heart of Houston. Toca Madera is expected to open in the 12,000-square-foot space, which will feature an outdoor patio, in the summer of 2023.
