The growing comfort food fast-casual brand Rise Southern Biscuits will soon open a store in downtown Orlando, according to a recent press release. The restaurant will be located at 355 N Rosalind Ave, near Subway and Craft & Common.

“Award-winning Rise Southern Biscuits and Righteous Chicken are known for their bold flavors and innovative menu items offered at an affordable price point,” the press release states.

“The southern-inspired fast-casual restaurant was founded in 2012 by the Culinary Institute of America trained-chef, Tom Ferguson, and has grown across six states with an impressive 100+ locations targeted.”

“This location will feature unique heated lockers and touch-screen kiosks providing a quick solution for customers on the go and will also offer traditional employee interaction. Rise Southern Biscuits and Righteous Chicken executed a 10-year lease for 1,716 square feet and anticipate opening shop this fall. They will have 4-6 employees workingthroughout the week and 8-12 employees on weekends.”

What Now Orlando briefly reached out to Orlando Master Franchisee Donald Schnurr to inquire about potential opening dates. Succinctly, Schnurr says: “Looks like fourth quarter (of 2023).”
